We have an excellent career opportunity for a Accounts Payable Clerk.  The person in this position processes all service invoices submitted to Monitronics International, Inc.  by a service dealer for payment. The work schedule is typically 10 am to 7 pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime and weekends.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

?  Receives and processes Service billing for over 500 service companies across the United States

?  Enters information of each invoice in the Service Billing Database

?  Monitors adherence to the Monitronics Billing guidelines

?  Submits coded invoices to Accounting Department for check processing

?  Prepares letters to accompany checks for dealers

?  Receives and prepares checks from Accounting for mailing and/or FedEx

?  Handles dealer calls regarding billing discrepancies or lost checks 

Experience & Qualifications Required:

?  Excellent oral and written communication skills

?  Strong computer skills (Database and Internet software, Spreadsheet and Word Processing software)

?  Strong reasoning ability

?  Strong mathematical skills

?  Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness

?  Ability to read and write routine reports and correspondence

?  Ability to present before a group
