THE OPPORTUNITY:
SCP currently needs an experienced clerk with both Accounts Receivable and Collections experience in a distribution setting.

REQUIREMENTS:
The ideal candidate will have
o High School Diploma or GED;
o 1 or more years of experience in A/R AND;
o 1 or more years of experience in collections;
o 1 or more years of experience in reconcilliation;
o Strong communication skills both written and verbal;
o Strong computer skills including use of MS Office programs.
o Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts interest and percentages.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
o Devote a portion of each day to A/R activities.
o Devote a portion of each day to reconcilliation.
o Devote a portion of each day to collections.
o Replenish office/warehouse supplies.
o Collect branch receivables and records payments to customers
accounts.
o Prepares daily cash deposits and completes cash control sheet as needed.
o Answers calls and/or mail correspondence to customers as
necessary.
