Including both a commercial and manufacturing operation, this New Jersey based business is the home to 5 very special tableware brands- Mikasa, Studio Nova, Luminarc, Salviati, and Cristal d'Arques.Our Mikasa Regional Office and Distribution center, located in Charleston, SC, has an opening for an Accounts Receivable Specialist.





 


JOB SUMMARY: 


Position is responsible for the collection of outstanding receivables, enforcing Arc International NA Terms of Sale and the research of disputed items while maintaining the integrity of the relationship between Arc International and the customer. The Specialist must be trained to recognize any signs that point to potential exposure to the company.





 


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


Duties include the collection of outstanding invoices and to research and provide the account supporting documentation for the collection of any disputed items.  This includes communication via phone, fax, and e-mail. They are also responsible for monitoring and providing the proper documentation for collection via Letters of Credit and/or Credit Card Payments.  





 


The collection staff is fully cross-trained in the areas of credit, cash application and claims research.  They can assist in these areas as the time and needs dictate. 





 


Requirements:


1 year of relevant professional experience


GOOD COMMUNICATION AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS


EXPERIENCE WITH SAP


EXPERIENCE WITH MS Office
