Admin Specialist

Summary of Responsibilities:

 

Performs a variety of specialized administrative assignments to support a business unit.

 

Functional Responsibilities: Provides administrative assistance to staff in a business unit, including filing, photocopying, general work processing, scheduling meetings, making travel arrangements, etc. Sets priorities and answers correspondence as appropriate. Assembes complex and/or sensitive documents that may include presentation graphics. Maintains and extracts information from computer-based information sources. Performs other duties as required or assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities: None. Typical Experience: High school diploma. 2-4 years related work experience. Ability to develop knowledge of business unit's policies and procedures, products/services, customer base, and systems.

 

Principal Responsibilities:

 

Person should have good grammar, oral communication, time management and personal computer and software skills: i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point preferred.

 

Very good organizational and time management skills are required.

 

Experience with ARIBA and MetLife Accounts Payable is a plus.
