Adminisitrative Assistant
Long term temporary position. One year in duration. Potential temp to hire.
Responsibilities include
1. Processing of all Supplier quality surveys.
2. Position requires utilization of personal computer, entering data from source documents and manipulating software programs. This position requires strong working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Access, and related mainframe software, such as Oracle and TIPQA, in performing assigned tasks.
3. Position requires strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with individuals at all levels--both inside and outside the organization. Qualified candidates should be proactive with the ability to exercise initiative combined with good judgment.
4. Position requires a flexible, friendly team player who enjoys a variety of duties Candidate should exhibit creative problem-solving abilities, professionalism, and poise and have the ability to work independently and as a team member to produce stellar results.
5. Requires daily interaction with numerous functional groups such as Quality Engineering, Design Engineering, Procurement, Accounts Payable, Shipping, Receiving, Material planners and Production Control. Position requires a through understanding of each function?s responsibilities and ability provide direction when required.
6. Good analytical skills required to resolve problems or inconsistencies that develop with data, product and systems. Requires ability to analyze data, research root cause and correct errors.
7. Provide secretarial, administrative and clerical support to assigned personnel.
8. Maintain accurate inventory records, filing systems and logs.
9. Reserve and prepare conference rooms for meetings; attending meetings and prepare minutes and action items as required; coordinate material for meetings as required; writing/maintaining required processes; processing incoming/outgoing mail; and tracking/ordering office supplies.
Must have
? Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office Suite applications specifically in the Excel and Access applications.
? HS diploma or equivalent plus a minimum of 2 years relevant experience
? Ability to manage multiple priorities in time-sensitive environment.
? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
? Strong organizational skills/attention to detail
? Good interpersonal skills/ability to interact with diverse groups
? Enthusiasm, professionalism and team orientation
? Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
