Administrative Assistant, Development Group

Our company is a small but expanding senior living community with three locations in Florida.  We provide independent living services, assisted living and Alzheimer?s services as well as, home health care and skilled nursing.  This key position will be based out of  our Tampa management office. 

 

Tasks are administratively-related, moderately difficult, varied and may include, but are not limited to the following: Organize and maintain records and files within the asset management division; Track capital project expenses and prepare reports; Process construction draw requests; Track lien releases, warranty certificates and other contractor submittals; Coordinate equipment ordering, delivery and setup; Interact with vendors and consultants; Conducts research as necessary and compile and type statistical and financial reports; Coordinate and arranges meetings; Prepares outgoing mail and correspondence, including e-mail and faxes. Reports to the Vice President, Development.

 

The selected candidate will  possess good skills in planning, organizing, directing and managing all work assignments.  Must possess a good sense of efficiency and in successfully completing all work assignments; must be flexible and open to change; may be required to work extra hours and/or be on call during off hours. Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook for email; WORD for word processing; and Excel for report generation.

 

Must be a high school graduate or equivalent with 4 years of business and/or experience in the construction field or in a related area. College graduate preferred.  Must possess knowledge of basic business and communication skills.
