MWH is currently seeking qualified applicants for an Administrative Assistant for our Rego Park, New York office.
Primary Function:
Responsible for clerical, administrative, and accounting tasks, including some administrative duties for several professional or managerial supervisor(s). Requires frequent and varied use of business and technical terminology, as well as a general understanding of Company operations, organization and procedures. Individuals should have working knowledge of the construction field and terminology. Ability to take initiative a must, strong communicator, flexible and very reliable.
1. Word processing (reports, proposals, presentations, marketing materials, etc.)
2. Report preparation, technical editing, and production.
3. Prepare and track project schedules and budgets.
4. Maintain document archives (both hard copy and electronic).
5. Create and maintain electronic databases containing technical information.
6. Perform filing, copying, mailing, and general office duties.
7. Actively handle all Office responsibilities, including general MWH administrative needs, timesheet reporting, meeting setups, expense reporting, A/P processing and monitoring, HR processes and recordkeeping, internal/external correspondence, word processing assistance as needed.
8. Must be comfortable supporting a field construction office.

9. Follow safe work practices and adhere to company guidelines for planning and executing work in a safe manner.
High school diploma or GED. Associate degree helpful, but not required.
2-5 years relevant experience.
Administrative or technical responsibilities.
Receives direct supervision.
