Come Join Us in Helping to Save Lives.  The Heart Walk is a grassroots, corporate based event that brings together thousands of people from across the region to raise monies to support the non-profit initiatives of the American Heart Association.

 

We are currently seeking a high energy, experienced, and professional Administrative Assistant for our Glen Allen, VA location.  This position will provide top notch administrative skills to support the Richmond Walk Director and team.

 

 

Qualified individuals will have sgrong Excel, data entry, and Word skills.  The ability to work in spreadsheets is mandatory.  Word skills will include letters, labels, mail merge and creative abilities with  documents.  Experience with

 

Excellent customer service skills will be utilized in dealing with a variety of people from internal senior management to corporate sponsors to volunteer staff on phone calls and in face to face meetings. 

 

The flexibility to work some overtime during two peak annual event periods is needed.

 

Qualifications

 High School diploma or equivalentBasic math skillsExperience in Excel and Word Excellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to lift 20 lbs
