Administrative Assistant - Location Level

The Alderwoods Group is seeking an energetic and highly motivated individual to assist with many diverse projects in the main office. Must be capable of adapting quickly to the structure of our business, work independently and productively on multiple tasks with little supervision. Qualified candidate will have strong oral and written communication skills. As a member of Alderwoods team, this person will quickly respond to and resolve issues related to the daily operation of our business



Specific tasks include



Extensive interaction with staff members and corporate executives

Answer multi-line phone system, operate fax machine, copying and perform day to day administrative duties as required by management

Create correspondence related to meeting preparation

Act as liaison between location managers and corporate structure

Maintain project log and follow-up with issues that may arise at locationsREQUIREMENTSMust have excellent communication skills and ability to pay close attention to details

Ability to multi task and set priorities

Above average telephone and communication skills

Well-organized individual, results-oriented and follow through skills required

Two to four years of administrative assistant experience within a professional environment

High School diploma or equivalent

Excellent computer skills in Word and Excel
