Position Description:

In addition to 92,000 physicians, 1,250 hospitals and 600 home care providers, the company's large, well-established client base includes hundreds of laboratories, clinics, managed services organizations and other related organizations.
We are currently recruiting for an Administrative Assistant to join our Research & Development team. The ideal candidate, under executive direction, conducts various special projects, manages executives? schedules, arranges appointments, travel, meetings, conference calls, etc. This role involves some analysis and use of initiative and independent judgment with frequent access to confidential and highly complex information. Excellent written and oral communication skills, strong organizational skills and outstanding interpersonal skills are essential. The ability to work within deadlines, perform well under pressure, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks is a necessity. An individual who is detail-oriented, highly organized and proactive is desired. In addition, the ability to hold information in strict confidence is required.
Responsibilities Include:
? Conducts various special projects that may require analysis, working with budgets, coordinating resources and collaboration with other staff.
? Provides administrative and secretarial support to include the following:
? Coordination of schedules, appointments and agendas.
? Arrange business-related travel.
? Handle all confidential material relevant to company operations.
? Screen phone calls and incoming mail.
? Perform word processing, spreadsheet and presentation preparation duties.
? Coordinate general office management responsibilities to include ordering office supplies and facility maintenance.
? Assist in preparation for board and senior management meetings, which may include preparation of reports, taking minutes, arranging for conference rooms or outside facilities
Qualifications:
Education/Experience Required:
? Associates degree in Business or other related program. Bachelor?s degree in business or liberal arts desirable.
? 4+ years in administrative/executive secretarial positions in a corporate setting.
? Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint, specifically with the advanced features of each product.
? Proven ability to organize and maintain executive-level activities, coordinate and implement projects, and meet strict deadlines.
? Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
? Thorough knowledge of administrative practices and procedures.
? Knowledge of international protocol desirable.
? Able to handle highest level confidential information.
? Detail oriented.
