Administrative Assistant for Editorial Dept. of Trade Magazine

Weekly trade magazine seeks energetic, detail-oriented person to fill this part-time administrative position (30 hours per week, M-F). The individual in this position will report to the editor in chief and provide administrative support to the entire editorial staff.

Duties include: tracking and submitting invoices/expense reimbursements/check requestscollecting department leave forms and maintaining department calendarcoordinating judging activities that culminate in two major awards banquets each yearcoordinating materials for submission of articles for industry awardsassisting with planning department eventsother administrative tasks as needed

 

Position requires strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to handle a variety of tasks within a team environment. Must be proficient in MS Office (Word and Excel). Applicants must have at least one year experience in an administrative position in an office environment, publishing industry preferred.
