Administrative Assistant for Government Sales

We currently have an outstanding opportunity for a Sales Administrative Assistant for our Government Team. Some of the Qualities that we are looking for consist of; Creating and/or maintaining reports and other databases that track the sales department?s performance metrics, trends, and other related data.Performing a variety of executive support tasks that may be confidential and sensitive, including the maintenance of confidential documents and files.Acting as a liaison with other internal departments, corporate officials and outside agencies, including high-level staff such as CEO?s, Presidents, Vice Presidents, etc.Handles confidential and non-routine information and explains policies when necessary.Assisting in planning and organizing special events and presentations, such as the annual Industrial Services Group Conference, department-wide events, special presentations made by the?Director of Sales or sales management team members to the Executive Committee, major clients, or strategic business partners.Plan, coordinate and facilitate the?director of Sales calendar to arrange and schedule appointments, meetings, and conferences.Organizing and scheduling travel, prepare itineraries and maintain all travel records for the?Director of Sales.Collaborate and coordinate with management team members in other TWPL offices.? Compose letters, memos, sales proposals, etc. in response to incoming mail, E-mail, or phone calls. Proofreads copy for spelling, and grammar.Responsible for the accuracy of final product. Receiving and screening incoming calls and visitors, determine which are priority matters and alert the?Director of Sales accordingly.Read and screen incoming correspondence; make preliminary assessment of the importance of the materials, handle some matters personally and forward appropriate material to the?Director of Sales.
Some of the requirements that are mandatory for this position are:? Work requires an extensive knowledge of business and an excellent command of the English language.? Needs to have proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and an?Advanced Level of Excel.? High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations is a must.? Uses diplomacy, discretion and judgment in giving out information and referring callers.? Works in a fast-paced unstructured ever-changing environment, and adapt to change while maintaining composure during stressful situations.? Multi-tasking and working independently with little or no supervision to meet critical deadlines and objectives.? Showing an ability to work well with other departments (i.e. Customer Care, Distributions, Accounting, etc.) within PWPL to solve time sensitive issues.????? Consistently demonstrates a positive attitude at all times.
