Kimball Hill Homes, a Premier new home builder in 

Ft. Myers is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support our Area Sales Manager and staff of

Sales Consultants for our 

Ft. Myers Division.

 

The Administrative Assistant performs the following duties and responsibilities for the Division: 

 Provides general administrative support to the Area Sales Manager, including, but not limited to word processing, filing, photocopying, faxing documents, phone message coordination and general office support.

 Assists with the coordination of marketing functions for assigned area(s).

 Assists Regional Marketing Coordinator with the creation and revisions of sales collateral, flyers, etc. for assigned areas.

 Creates and coordinates print advertising for assigned areas to include newspaper, magazine, direct mail and posters.

 Creates and coordinates all signage for assigned areas.

 Generates press releases for assigned areas.

 Coordinates grand opening events for assigned areas.

 

Other Duties & Responsibilities to be Performed:

 Monitors website for assigned areas to ensure accuracy.

 Creates meeting presentations as needed.

 Tracks marketing/advertising expenses and compares to budgeted expenses.

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

 Knowledge of and ability to use Macintosh, QuarkXpress, Illustrator, Photoshop, Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet is required.

 Knowledge of printing process and costs is required.

 Excellent communication and public relations/customer service skills are necessary for dealing with internal and external customers.

 Knowledge of PowerPoint is helpful.

 Knowledge of the homebuilding industry, KHH competitors, and the Real Estate is essential.

 Ability to prioritize and adapt as situations arise and change on a daily basis is helpful.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred;

 

One (1) year experience in a Real Estate Sales or Marketing Department within the homebuilding industry; or

 

Equivalent combination of education and experience.
