Position Description
An exciting opportunity to work with an innovative, fast-paced marketing strategy consultancy serving C-level executives of Fortune 100 clients. The Administrative Marketing Associate (AMA) will report directly to the Director of Administration. In addition, the AMA will support the Chairman&CEO, as well as other members of the Goodman&Company team, on an as needed basis. Expectation for all employees: supports the organization?s mission, vision, and values by exhibiting the following behaviors: flexibility, multi-task oriented, excellence and competence, collaboration, innovation, respect personalization, commitment, accountability and ownership. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual interested in strategy and marketing to contribute to mission critical client projects.
Qualifications
? Detailed-oriented in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment, flexible, team player, etc.
? Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and the Internet
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
? A professional appearance and telephone manner is essential
? Good command of the English language, oral and written
? Ability to type 55 wpm
? BA required with a concentration in Marketing preferred
? 2-4 years experience preferred
Responsibilities
? Schedule meetings, book conference rooms, order lunch when necessary, and coordinate calendars
? Coordinate travel arrangements; book air travel, hotel accommodations, and ground transportation
? Prepare bi-weekly T&E reports
? Maintain Chairman?s MS Outlook calendar and key contact database
? Ability to type correspondence to include word processing/typing of letters, memos, forms, policies and procedures (includes handling of confidential information).
? Answers telephones, handles calls, routes to appropriate individual or effectively takes messages. Ensures customers, vendors and employees are handled in a professional and courteous manner.
? Photocopy and fax information and documents as needed or requested.
? Responsible for pick up, opening and sorting of daily mail. Responds or replies when necessary.
? Ensure files are up to date and papers and files are clearly marked for easy access.
? Maintain appropriate levels and monitor office supplies, equipment and other materials.
? Take direction and initiate actions that will allow the assumption of cross-functional duties to ensure seamless work productivity.
? Run errands when necessary.
