Administrative Assistant for Insurance and Financial Planning Firm

 

Are you a bright professional with experience in the insurance and/or investment administrative field? Are you organized and able to work independently in a fast ?paced environment? Are you detail oriented and able to complete error-free work? Are you PC, MS Office, and Internet savvy? Do you enjoy assisting clients and providing excellent service? If so, then you might be the person we are looking to have join our firm, located in Avon, CT.

We are a growing financial planning firm providing an array of investment, insurance and other planning services to clients throughout Connecticut and beyond. The office environment is comfortable and professional, with an intense dedication to providing our clients with the highest quality service possible.

 

Qualifications

 

Client-centric and able to thrive in a small-team environment

Strong telephone etiquette, inbound and outbound

Able to understand written and/or verbal directions, then complete tasks independently

Ability to write coherent and clear sentences, and construct professional client correspondence

Detail oriented, with ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines

Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Outlook, Excel, and Word

Familiarity with financial services industry helpful

Insurance and/or NASD licensing helpful, but not required

High School diploma is required, college degree preferred

 

Responsibilities

 

Assist in completing insurance and investment paperwork to establish new accounts

Monitor pending insurance cases

Generate reports as needed

Service clients? accounts

Make and receive phone calls as necessary

Draft letters as directed

Filing as required
