Administrative assistant position with growing company

We are a growing manufacturing company located in south Fremont between 880 and 680.  We have an opening for an administrative assistant or office administrator.  This is a great position for a quick learner with a positive and professional attitude looking for a start in accounting and hr.

 

Duties include:

 

Maintain accounts payable and receivable systems.

Prepare biweekly payroll.

Maintain data backup system.

Scan documents for retention.

Light reception.

Finance and hr projects under the direction of the controller.

 

The position is full-time, M-F 8am to 4:30pm and reports to the controller.  Prior experience with preparing payroll using ADP or Paychex, using Quickbooks, and other relevant applications is preferred but not required, as we are willing to train the right person on any and all functions.

Only other requirement is a polished verbal communication ability and some prior experience with excel (basic functions - formulas, formatting, etc).
