Administrative Coordinator
Creative and dynamic Chicago based product development consulting firm is searching for an energetic office administrator that is highly-motivated and looking for the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, fun, growing company. The position provides management level administrative support in addition to assisting with the day to day operations of the product development team. Experience in special project coordination, product development, and customer service, are major pluses.
The ideal candidate will exhibit the following characteristic and skills:
Bachelor or Associates degree
Minimum of 3 years experience in an office management and administrative activities
Excellent customer service skills and people friendly personality
Highly dependable, professional and detail-oriented
Team player with a "can do" attitude that is well organized and flexible
Advance computer skills a must, including MS Word, Excel and Power Point
Great communication skills both written and verbal, including advanced writing and editing
Proposal development and budgeting
Human resource development and coordination
Self-starter who is proactive and is able to work independently in order to plan, prioritize and organize a highly diversified workload
Main duties and functions of this position includes the following:
- Provide management teams with administrative support including
letter typing, proposal, and preparing travel arrangements,
client coordination, and other administrative projects.
- Assist with human resources functions including new hire
orientation, benefits management, and coordination of ongoing
team-building social activities.
- Coordinating onsite and offsite team functions including staff
meeting, client meeting, board meetings, and team building social
activities.
Manage service providers to assure interiors and exterior of facility
are highly presentable.
- Perform miscellaneous duties and assist with special projects
- Assist management and throughput of office financial operations
including; administration of petty cash, PO initiation and throughput,
project invoicing and receivables throughput.
