Affiliate Service Administrator
The Komen Foundation is currently seeking to fill the position of Affiliate Service Administrator.
This person will serve as the first line of contact for one or more teams offering targeted support services to Affiliates. Establishes and maintains a line of communication with assigned Affiliates. Assists one or more targeted core teams with day-to-day responsibilities in support of assigned Affiliates. These responsibilities may include research and response to Affiliate questions on policies, procedures, process, and programs; follow up with Affiliates on outstanding opportunities and issues; and general education of and customer support to Affiliates.
Primary Responsibilities:
Serves as first line of communication to Affiliates in order to respond to Affiliate questions, requests, and procedural questions. Researches and responds to Affiliate inquiries, questions, and requests of a reasonably standard nature.
Provides timely and accurate responses. Tracks requests, notes trends, and provides updates to team members.
Keeps team members abreast of Affiliate Status and group trends.
Works collaboratively with other departments to ensure information is consistently disseminated to the field.
Monitors adherence to Komen?s branding guidelines and compliance with National Partner agreements.
Reviews materials and related collateral to ensure accuracy of information and clarity of Komen message. Printed materials include items such as race entry forms, posters, event invitations, programs, advertisements and related collateral.
Reminds Affiliates of critical information due dates, and/or any changes to procedures.
Provides resources, tools, and assistance to Affiliates to ensure compliance with Komen policies and procedures.
Works with Legal Department to track filings of state documents for each Affiliate. Related tasks include sending reminders to Affiliates in advance of filing deadlines for important legal and tax documents (e.g., annual reports) and following up with Affiliates on past due filings.
Maintains working knowledge of Komen program/procedures as they pertain to other Foundation departments.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Position Qualifications:
High school diploma plus two years of college or an Associate Degree, and 1-3 years direct experience in a customer service or program support role.
Preferred Experience:
Prefer bachelor degree. Prior experience working with the Komen Foundation, a volunteer organization or not-for-profit/cause-related organization considered a plus.
Specialized Knowledge Requirements:
Requires intermediate-level knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and solid skills in customer service and support. Must know details of departmental policies and procedures affecting Affiliate organizations. Requires demonstrated success working in a customer service or human relations position. Must show success in other work environment(s) where required to multi-task. Good problem solving skills considered essential.
