Assistant Branch Administrator - Anchorage, AK

The Opportunity: We are looking for a customer-focused professional to fill the position of Assistant Branch Administrator in our busy office.You'll act as receptionist by answering our switchboard in a rapid, professional manner and routing calls correctly; you will receive and file daily reports; handle billing, warehouse receivals, and process freight.  You will be responsible for the daily keying of branch transactions, including but not limited to: freight invoices, expenses, releasing warehouse billing, and originating RMA transactions. You will work closely with freight companies reviewing invoices for accuracy, processing for payment and applying charges to customers; and obtain proofs of delivery as required; and handle other duties as assigned.

 

The Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required; a minimum of six months of related experience preferred.  Experience with a multi-line phone system strongly desired.  The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and communications skills, the ability to work quickly and efficiently, a desire to exceed customer expectations, able to work effectively with others, be numbers and multi-task oriented.  You must possess a working knowledge of computer software (Microsoft Word, Excel, e-mail, etc.).  SAP experience is a plus.  Enthusiasm for learning and problem solving is a must!
