Assistant Director-Public Works Department
Miami Shores Village is seeking an applicant for responsible professional and administrative work as Assistant Director of Public Works. Duties to include organizing, directing and coordinating through divisional supervisors and administrative assistant, the functions and activities of the department such as refuse collection and disposal, maintenance of streets, equipment, storm sewers, and municipal buildings. Ability to prepare and administer departmental budget with supervisors and staff. Coordination of activities with private contractors, utilities and other governmental agencies; and other related work as required. Must have a bachelors Degree in Public Administration, Engineering or related field; or equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Must be willing to work in the field with supervisors ensuring projects are completed correctly and efficiently. Salary Range $52,000 - $75,000.
