Assistant Operations Manager/Reporting Specialist

Pharmakon, a PDI Company, a leader in pharmaceutical marketing, is in search of an Assistant Operations Manager/Reporting Specialist.

 

Excellent opportunity available for a sharp, highly capable, technically-inclined individual with top-notch MS Access, MS Word and MS Excel skills.  Ideal candidate will be able analyze business situations, manage daily vendor expectations, and provide strong data analysis with attention to details.  In addition the candidate will develop reports generated using Microsoft software programs.  Report data may need to be imported/exported between internal systems and Microsoft programs.

 

REQUIREMENTS

 Ability to assume project responsibility; interface and communicate project specifications with individuals and vendors effectively.Act as a resource for internal staff and external vendorsRecommend and implement process improvements that enhance service levelsReallocate work according to production volumes and available resources; enlist the help of peer resources when requiredStrong data analysis, with attention to details, accomplishing tasks and project follow-through.Report development and report management of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports regarding various Operations metrics.Ad hoc reporting and special projects as deemed necessary.

 

Other duties include general administrative support and project planning support.

 

SKILLS

 Natural communicator and team-builder who successfully functions within, and interfaces with, all levels of personnel in a fast-paced business environment.Able to develop and maintain effective working relationships.Excellent written and oral communication skills, listening skills, high regard for maintaining confidentiality. Strong organizational, multi-tasking and problem analysis skills.Excellent organizational skills, detail and results oriented with initiative and follow-through to project completion.Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and make independent decisions.Adept at anticipating requirements of executive and uses extreme discretion when handling confidential and/or proprietary company information.

 

EXPERIENCE

2-5 years of experience creating applications and reports using MS Access and MS Excel.
