Assistant Sales Administrator

A small, high-growth company in Austin, TX involved in distribution, wholesale, retail, and ecommerce operations for a premium, niche product, involving multiple sales and marketing channels, is currently seeking an Assistant Sales Administrator to assist in providing sales order entry and other administrative support for its Sales department.


 Description:  Responsible for assisting the Sales Administrator in carrying out the company?s day to day sales administrative functions and tasks including but not limited to the following:

 

1.  Sales Order entry

2.  Data entry

3.  Processing, packing, and fulfilling sales orders.

4.  Sales department correspondence.

5.  Sales department filing and organizational needs.

6.  Assisting all areas of Sales Department operations as needed.

7.  Assist in coordinating and setting up arrangements, facilities, and material for company functions.

8.  Travel arrangements.

9.  Customer communications

10.  Supporting and assisting Sales Administrator in meeting day to day sales administration needs.

 

Qualifications:  Accurate data entry skills; organizational, initiative, multi-tasking, verbal and written communications skills; customer communications skills; proficient in WORD and Excel, computer skills; good general communications and coordinating skills, interdepartmental communications, and teaming skills; positive personality appropriate for small, growth company environment; comfortable with pressure situations and meeting deadlines; requires minimal supervison.

 

Reports to the Sales Administrator.
