Assistant to IT Manager

DeSilva Gates Construction is looking for an assistant to help the IT Department in Dublin. We need a dynamic individual who calls him/herself --Jack-o-all-trades, hit the ground running, I-can-or-can-find-a-way attitude.

 

Skills Required:Microsoft Word and Excel power user, 2000 or 2003 and knowledge of Access 2003 a super plus!Typing 50-60+ Able to multitask, organized and thorough Problem solving and great communications skillsAble to work in a team and independentlyA talent to dive into unfamiliar software?s and figure it out, a super super plus!

 

Duties (but not limited to)

Assist IT department in day to day activities: Help keep IT documentation and procedures up to date; purchasing IT supplies and equipment; help keep IT schedules of attendance and offsite activities; work closely with IT Manager in daily clerical items such as preparing invoices for A/P; work with accounting to do follow-up payment issues; help facilitate job setups with other IT staff and remote sites.
