Associate Director

Fast growing, established, Association Management company seeks management professional to serve as associate director for medical specialty client groups. This is a newly created position to support company growth. Responsibilities include the day-to-day management and staff support for association clients. Interface with the Executive Committee, board of directors and key committee leaders, such as scientific program committee with submission of abstracts. Attend meetings and implement association directives. Interface and coordinate activities with other internal staff support functions such as meetings, communications, membership, etc. Qualifications include strong management, excellent oral and written communication, consensus building and organizational skills. Proven leadership/management skills with an independent style, high degree of initiative. High energy, self-motivated, versatile and multi-task oriented, self-directed, and close attention to detail. Must be team-oriented with a collaborative work style. Travel and College degree required. 5 years association experience preferred.
