We are seeking an Associate Sales Administrator in our Piscataway, NJ facility who will be responsible for hands-on management and administration of order type contracts for IEEE online products with the assistance of the Manager of Contracts & Licensing.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Analyze contract/subcontract schedules and terms and conditions (both financially and legally) to ensure compliance and that execution does not adversely impact the organization.
- Under the direction of the Manager of Contracts & Licensing, obtain signed contracts from all on-line customers in respective territories.
- Examine contracts upon renewal of all customers to ensure most recent version of contract is signed and on file with the help of the Manager of Contracts & Licensing, and/or Sales Administrators.
- Perform closeout activities on assigned contracts/subcontracts.
- Assist in the preparation of promotional materials and programs for internal and external sales force to promote online product offerings
- Develop customer relationships by providing personalized service and sales support for Account Managers regarding all facets of on-line products.
- Will monitor the development of and review all sales orders associated with assigned contracts for accuracy and completeness with the Manager of Contracts & Licensing and other Sales Administrators.
- Will maintain all contracts and quotes in a master file system and ensure quote database accuracy for customer service and external sales force by working with Marketing Operations.
- Will assist customer service and accounting by preparing orders for processing on a daily basis checking for accuracy
- Monitor trial period activity for potential customers and act as liaison to Host Provider to ensure termination of service and conversion of order.
- System abuse monitoring & reporting with the Mngr. of Contracts & Licensing
- Interact with customers whose accounts have been suspended and work to resolve issues with the help of other Sales Administrators
- Perform Maximizer customer contact database updates and additions
- Create opportunity documents, account documents and append product and pricing information to customer records with the help of Sales Administrators
QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS/BA in Business Administration or related field.
- 2+ years experience in a Sales/Marketing related environment or other business environment
- Must be proficient in MS Office, including Excel, Word and Access.
- Excellent communications and phone skills.
