Benefits Specialist

Midtown Law Firm is Looking for a Benefits Specialist who will report to

their Assistant Director of Benefits Admin

to 75k

 

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

 

? Administering the day-to-day operations for the Medical, Prescription Plan, Dental, Vision, FSA, Life Insurance, Cobra, STD, FMLA, LOA, and Worker?s Compensation

? Answering employee inquiries on all health and welfare plans

? Working closely with the insurance carrier to resolve claim issues 

? Conducting annual open enrollment for the medical/dental plans, and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)

? Managing and process the claims and payments for the Flexible Spending Account programs.

? Reviewing and prepare the monthly insurance bills

? Conducting orientation for new hires on a weekly basis

? Entering and maintaining information in the HRIS Ceridian system

? Generating HRIS reports for payroll on enrollments, terminations, changes, and FSA.

 

Candidates must have a minimum of 3 to 5 years Benefits experience with a mid to large size firm.  Excellent communication skills are key as well as strong word and excel.
