Benefits Specialist II
DESCRIPTION This position will oversee administration of benefit programs and third-party vendors. Under general supervision, the position will also provide analytical and other professional level support to the benefits function. In addition, this position will create and analyze statistical reports regarding benefit programs and associated costs, develop recommendations for modifying benefit rograms to meet identified organizational objectives, audit monthly vendor bills for accuracy and submits for payment, develop and prepare employee communication campaigns for new program rollout and implementation, and conduct the benefit portion of New Employee Orientation.
REQUIREMENTS
HS Diploma or equivalent of a minimum of 5-7 years experience in Human Resources
Bachelors Degree preferred.
Must possess strong Health & Welfare benefits knowledge
Must have a good working knowledge of HRIS systems (SAP), and Microsoft Office technical skills, including Access.
Highly organized, self-motivated and effective at resolving issues, and providing excellent customer service to all customers.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to utilize and recognize ways to improve work-flow efficiency and increase productivity.
Able to work independently under general supervision.
