Bilingual MEMBER SERVICES (Call Center) REPRESNTATIVES

 

Candidates must be open to flexible work schedules:

Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday.

8:30am to 5pm

9am to 5:30pm

9:30am to 6pm

10:30 to 7pm

11:30 to 8pm

 

Currently looking for Korean, Mandarin/Cantonese, French/Creole, Italian, Hindi, Urdu, and Russian speaking candidates for hire.  We will also accept Spanish speaking candidates for review.

 

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

To effectively handle the needs of current and potential members so that organizational goals detailed in AFFINITY HEALTH PLAN?sCustomer Services Plan are achieved while adhering to all applicable policies, procedures, rules and guidelines.

 

 GOALS AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSResolve questions/issues via verbal or written response, based upon applicable internal & external policies, procedures, rules and guidelines independently or in collaboration with internal or external resources.

 Assess the needs of current or potential members, providers, governmental agencies, community organizations, AFFINITY HEALTH PLAN staff members and any other external or internal customer and determine the best possible solution to their questions, needs, complaints or issues.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

?  Knowledge of Medicaid/Child Health Plus or Family Health Plus products, regulations and guidelines preferred.

Or

?  Knowledge of Medicare products, regulations and guidelines.  Training from an accredited NY State Life, Accident & Health licensing agency preferred.

 

 

?  High school diploma and equivalent business experience.

?  Bilingual in one additional language in addition to English.

?  Three plus years experience in telephone customer service, with demonstrated success in achieving quality and production goals.

?  Excellent interpersonal, oral communication, listening, and resolution skills are required.

?  Good reading and writing skills and ability to work with basic quantitative data (e.g. counts, percentages) are required.

?  Intermediate level skill with Microsoft Office and GroupWise as demonstrated by the effective use of both applications to accomplish work assignments.
