ADMINISTRATOR & CLIENT SERVICE POSITIONS Established nationally recognized fast-paced Deerfield Beach Property & Casualty Insurance and Financial Planning Firm. Compass Financial Group provides: various insurance products and services which include: Personal Lines, Commercial Insurance, Homeowners, Personal Excess Liability, Automobile, or other personal vehicles, Inland Marine, and Business Owners Policies (BOP). Compass Financial Group also provides: Investment Planning, Investment Research/Analysis, Tax Planning, Estate Planning and Retirement Planning. Two years of college preferred. Will be doing insurance analysis, research and client servicing. Must be able to us MS Word with a minimum typing speed of 45 words per minute. Will be performing financial analysis and research, sophisticated database work, extensive client services, rating, application processing, filing, and marketing. Requires good English communication skills, math, organizational and analytical ability. Some transcribing is required also. Highly specialized training and education provided. Starting Salary $26,000 - $30,000 Plus Bonuses. Based on overall abilities, experience, and qualifications. Benefits available after 90 Days. Salary is increased over time based on knowledge gained, experience, ability, and job responsibility. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Job Purpose: Serves customers by reviewing and processing business transactions. Duties: Completes operations business transactions by underwriting, rating, and coding risks. Maintain operations data base by inputting data. Maintains client satisfaction by providing information; resolving problems. Reconciles operations premiums by comparing premium paid to premium processed. Maintains operations guidelines by updating product and procedure manuals. Maintains quality results by following and enforcing standards. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities. Enhances organizations reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. Receive and record all Investment, Tax, Estate, Insurance and financial services information necessary for Compass to service clients. Receive and record all client information necessary to process applications for new, renewal, cancellation, and endorsement of Personal Lines and Commercial Lines Insurance policies. Compile coverage and rating information; research insurers underwriting criteria, coverage, and premium data; and furnish the client with the best coverage and premium proposals. Perform financial planning and investment research and analysis. Process investment paperwork. Maintain in-force files and prepare insurance policy renewal notices recommending coverage enhancement. Transcribe letters and correspondence are dictated. Actively account-markets additional services and policies on existing "house accounts" (existing clients), ask for referrals, and solicit new business. Attend all weekly meetings and bring the completed appropriate REPORTS. Inform all clients of the Financial, Tax, and Investment Services. Type binders and applications for insurance and when necessary, invoices clients for initial and renewal premium payments. Prepare agency billings when insurer does not direct bill. Review policy expiration notices and follow up on non-renewed policies. Contact clients on Notices of Cancellation and make maximum effort to ensure policies remain in-force with the agency. Type, enter into word processor or transcribe letters, general correspondence, and documents and maintain correspondence files. Keep client files neat, accurate, and current. Work with Financial Services and Property & Casualty Insurance Producers as needed. File all items neatly. General office duties include but are not limited to filing, faxing, answering phones, opening and sorting mail. Receive, record, and follow up on claim statements. Obtain accident reports, police report numbers (as appropriate), and type the Liability Accident Notice or Property Loss Notice. Review insurance policies with clients to be sure losses are covered in policy and/or the client understands the specific exclusions that may affect the present claim. Advise client of State requirement to file accident report form with State, and assist if necessary. Send Demand Letter to other party if client is not at fault. Obtain repair or replacement cost statements, and provides all claims information to appropriate insurance company. Submit for agency approval claims payable within agency authority. Assist financial planners with the design, typing, and assembly of financial plans. Aid and assist clients and agency staff, as necessary, with questions or problems, and promote agency goodwill. Realize the importance of his/her responsibilities and takes full charge of them. Always dresses and conducts himself/herself in a professional manner. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Skills/Qualifications: Analyzing Information, Reporting Research Results, Business Knowledge, Verbal Communication, Written Communication, and Professionalism. At least two (2) years of college preferred. Computer Database & Word Processing Experience. ** Some of the duties and responsibilities of the position require a CUSTOMER SERVICE LICENSE (4-40) insurance license or other licenses as may be required. The Compass Financial Group, Inc. will pay for licensing and education courses subject to the company?s education policy. Other expertise as required by the owner or principals.
