Business Development Representative

Local company seeking employee to cover maternity leave.  Could be a possibility of permanent work.

The objective of this position is to increase sales through assisting our customers and/or sales force in the entering, expediting and managing of new and existing customer orders. This position covers a gamut of responsibilities to include but not be limited to ?

? Provide daily support to customers and sales personnel.

? The Business Development Representative will be responsible for the documentation of these conference calls as well as the timely distribution of the notes to the appropriate individuals.

? Preparation and distribution of sales reports.

? Processing customer complaints in an accurate and timely manner.

? Assist in the preparation and review of quotes

 

This position will need to work directly with manufacturing in relationship to customer orders.  The Business Development Representative will need to process order acknowledgements in a timely manner.  They will be asked to assist in maintaining correct customer pricing and help with special projects that arise in the Business Development department.  This position will fill in and back up the Business development manager in their absence.

 Skills
A two year Business related degree is preferred.
