Responsibilities as the Buyer/Planner will be:

? Production Material Procurement (MRP, ECOs, MRB, etc)
? Identify and Deliver on Cost Savings Opportunities
? Supply Chain Risk Analysis & Management
? Supplier Management (Cost, Quality & Delivery Performance Reviews)
? Contracts (Strategy Development, Negotiation & Compliance Management)
? Compliance to Procurement Policies & Procedures

This position requires:

? Knowledge of Best Practices related to responsibilities listed above
? Problem Solving: Ability to quickly analyze problems, investigate and determine solutions
? Negotiations: Ability to negotiate favorable pricing and key terms and conditions.
? Ability to Deliver Professional Presentations to Senior Management
? Ability to organize and manage many projects simultaneously
? Strong planning and procurement proficiency in a major ERP system (SAP, Oracle, Baan, PeopleSoft, etc)
? Excellent oral and written communication skills
? Proficiency in MS Office applications Additional Desired Skills:
? Experience with Custom Plastics Procurement is highly desirable
? Proficiency in SAP (Purchasing & Planning modules)
? Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) Certification
? Experience in the Biotechnology sector
