Earth Tech is looking for a junior Construction Contract Administrator for their Arlington, VA construction site project office. This person will be responsible for assisting the Project Controls Manager in developing, preparing and maintaining construction contract documentation including, change orders, claims, contract amendments and sub agreements for project consultants and subcontractors associated with the project. Major duties include; assist with the administration of construction contracts, prepare and process all change documents required for project change orders, assist with the development of claim analysis, attend project construction meetings and prepare minutes to document decisions, work with Resident Engineers to ensure all contract reports and procedures are completed, develop reports in response to the state and federal requirements, provide assistance for contract projects as assigned by the Program Management team, generate and maintain project correspondence including letters, reports, and memoranda.

Requirements:

Candidate must have a BS degree and a good knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel. Experience with Primavera Expedition and construction contracts preferred but not required. Familiarity with standard contract concepts, practices, and procedures within the construction field considered a plus. This is a multi-functional, critical position that requires the ideal candidate to be self-motivated, independent, flexible and creative to meet changing priorities, as well as enjoy a fast paced team environment. Must be able to work well under pressure, have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Good organizational skills are also a necessity.
