Primary Duties and Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Responsible for sorting and delivering incoming and outgoing U.S. Postal Service mail and interoffice mail including reports, x-rays and other items to, from, and between clinics, departments and other business affiliates of the Iowa Health System.

* Complies with the appropriate U.S. Postal Service mailing regulations.

* Collects productivity/volume/quality data as requested.

* Maintain accurate transportation logs and other data as requested.

* Monitors performance and obtains service as assigned, for system equipment, including, but not limited to vehicles, mailing machines, etc., reporting any vehicle malfunction to Supervisor.

* Maintain compliance with CLIA, OSHA, Safety and Risk Management guidelines.

* Maintain compliance with Personnel policies and procedures.

* Behave in a manner consistent with all Corporate Compliance policies and procedures.

* Perform other duties as requested by Supervisor to facilitate the smooth and effective operations of the office.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED:

* General supervision is received from the Regional Director of Operations.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

* High School or Vocational School graduate.

* Valid drivers license.

* Maintenance of an acceptable driving record (i.e. no OWI convictions in last 7 years or no more than 3 moving violations in last 3 years)

* Ability to file alphabetically.

* Strong interpersonal skills.

* Ability to work as a team member.

* Ability to understand and apply guidelines, policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED:

* Ability to maintain a flexible schedule.
