CREDIT RISK ANALYST

EnerSys, the world leader in stored energy solutions for industrial applications, has an exciting opportunity for a Credit Risk Analyst at our Corporate Headquarters in Reading.  This individual will be responsible for:

 

- preparing detailed written financial and credit analyses on accounts

- recommending suitable credit limits for customers

- monitoring events relating to customer and relate financial impact to management

- assisting in developing and maintaining credit pre-approval and limit policies

- creating and maintaining credit risk models and provide credit decision support to improve the overall effectiveness of the credit department

- overseeing and administering bad debt reserves, anticipated receivable risks as well as other special projects and ad hoc reports as requested

- performing backup duties of credit/collection analyst and various other credit related duties as assigned

- assisting in department audits

- acting as a liaison between customers, field sales force, and other departments in order to provide maximum customer satisfaction while effectively protecting the company?s investment in accounts receivable

 

The selected candidate should have a BS in a accounting or finance with at least a few years experience in a credit financial analysis environment, financial and analytical skills, excellent communication skills, knowledge of D & B reports, ability to research on the web research using company websites and other sites, knowledge of commercial credit risk, and good computer skills
