Chapter Liaison

The American College of Physicians (ACP) is a national medical membership organization located in Center City Philadelphia.  It is our aim to enhance the quality and effectiveness of healthcare by fostering excellence and professionalism in the practice of internal medicine.

 

Our Membership Division currently has an opening for a Chapter Liaison to serve as a facilitator to chapter leaders and their staff in the development and operation of the chapter to better serve the College membership.  Responsibilities of this position include;

 Serving as a primary point of contact and resource for a designated group of chapter Governors, their staff and local leaders within the chapter.Coordinating the development and production of education programs in the chapters. Assisting the Governor and Membership Chair with membership development activities.Managing multiple chapter web sites. Traveling to multiple chapter meetings each year as Staff Representative.

 

The right candidate will possess a Bachelor?s degree (preferable) and previous experience in a professional membership organization.  We require demonstrated editing and proofreading skills as well as excellent PC skills to include Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and basic web tools.  Excellent communications skills and a strong attention to detail are required, knowledge of medical terminology and health care issues are desirable.
