Chemical Industry Coordinator (Ref.# 062357)-006PD

Description Chemical Industry Coordinator. Work with clients and market leaders in chemical and chemical-related industries to identify and develop engagement opportunities and manage the overall execution of sold BRS engagements. Focus heavily on developing relationships with the head(s) of Risk and Audit functions in Mid-Atlantic Area chemical companies. Coordinate with E&Y chemical industry Business Development Executives to leverage established relationships and drive growth opportunities in the chemical industry. Lead industry specific BRS thought leadership efforts (e.g. Internal Audit Survey, IA Design Sessions) for chemical industry clients and targets. Be a thought leader and active participant in the Chemical Industry Summit and other respected industry-related forums. Further develop industry and specialty knowledge by attending business/industry association events, actively participating in Area industry meetings, studying relevant industry analysis, and participating in appropriate learning opportunities. Maintain a strong chemical industry focus by effectively serving chemical client needs and developing productive working relationships with client personnel. Display teamwork, integrity and leadership. Work with team members to set goals and responsibilities for specific engagements and industry activities. Foster teamwork and innovation. Utilize technology and tools to continually learn and innovate, share knowledge with team members and enhance service delivery. Understand E&Y and its service lines. Actively encourage team members to contribute ideas and identify potential opportunities to apply E&Y's services.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field
*
Must have 5 years of related audit or applicable business experience
*
Must have demonstrated internal audit and/or risk based work experience with high-growth clients and other market leaders in the chemical industry
*
Must have deep experience with providing risk-based services to global and/or multinational companies
*
Must have a thorough understanding of the Big 4 global client service model, traditional service offerings, and global firm operations
*
Must have the desire to pursue applicable professional development and certification(s) (CIA and/or CPA) and obtain certification before July 2007
*
Must be able to travel 50% of the time, (20% international, 30% domestic)
