Claims Service Representative - (RT6381)

Currently, we have an excellent opportunity available for a Claims Service Representative to join our rapidly growing company. This position is located in our Pasadena, CA office and the job code is RT6381.

Primary responsibilities for this position include:
* Process all bills, benefit notices, appointment letters
* Alphabetize and sort mail
* Take instructions from Claims Adjuster and Supervisor
* Answer telephones
* Provide customer service to outside callers
* Verify disability status from medical providers
* Computer research and data entry

Qualified Candidates Will Have:
* High School Diploma or GED equivalent
* 6 months to 1 year prior claims experience
* Alphabet, numbers, related clerical field
* Team oriented
* Can work with little or no supervision
* Time management skills
* Prior claims assistant experience a plus
* Must have the ability to alphabetize, add and subtract
* Work independently
* Good written and oral communication skills
* Good telephone etiquette
