Claims Technician / Administrative Assistant

Our Bristol West team is looking for a Claims Technician/Administrative Assistant to join our Farmers Branch, TX office (Dallas area).This position is responsible for assisting Claims Representatives and the office Branch Manager in an administrative capacity supporting the settlement of auto claims and general office functions.

 

Specific responsibilities include:

 * Assisting Claims and Management with the general operations functions of an office

* Gathering information on newly reported claims and complete loss report and file set up, if applicable. 

* Answer phones and direct calls in a timely and professional manner. 

* Provide filing and mail handling duties for the branch locations.

* Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Qualified candidates will have: 

* Minimum 1 year professional office/customer service experience.

* Ability to type 40+ WPM.

* Proficient PC skills.

* Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.

* Ability to multi-task and pay attention to detail.

* Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.

 

Education:

 * High school diploma or equivalent.
