Clerical Assistant (Non-union Position); Bowline Generating Station

OVERVIEW: Responsible for providing administrative and general clerical support to the Administrative Manager..  Also provides backup support to other plant management.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


Screen and direct calls: update plant telephone listing.

Provide support to Administrative Manager and other plant management as needed. ..

Post and maintain file for all licenses and certificates.

Update and distribute staffing reports, employee contact list and mail.

Coordinate all social functions and meetings.

Schedule and set-up auditorium and conference rooms.

Prepare and process timesheet, expense vouchers, invoices, education forms, etc.

Under supervision order all office supplies.

Maintain and update records and bulletin boards for job postings.

Assist other administrative personnel along with other miscellaneous administrative duties as required.


REQUIREMENTS:


Excellent communication skills.

Must be a pro-active, self-starting, team player.

General knowledge of administrative and office methods and procedures.

Ability to identify office procedure problems and initiate problem solving techniques.

Proficient in all office equipment, Microsoft Office (Excel and Word), procedures and practices.

High School education or equivalent job related experience.

Minimum of 2-4 years experience in Administrative/Secretarial field preferred.
