Client Manager/Account Executive

Domestic and international shipping company is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented candidate to work as a Client Manager/Account Executive in their rapidly growing high-end interior design department. The bulk of this exciting opportunity is dealing with interior designers who are buying, (possibly storing) and installing antique furniture, paintings and antiques in the renovations, extensions and building-house-from-scratch assignments they have. The key to success in this position, as with so many things in life, is in the details! Timing is crucial and everything is usually last minute. Being able to think quickly and make adjustments as necessary is a must. But it?s more than that. If a timetable is disrupted by e.g. customs complications, the interior designers and their clients may well be stressing out, so (figurative) hand-holding while you help them through the problems is an important function of the position.  Experience dealing with high-net-worth individuals and a background in the arts will give you a definite advantage in that your clients will have a comfort zone knowing that you understand the process and the importance of the merchandise. This position is office-based with heavy phone work, coordination of schedules, spreadsheet status reports, and some client meetings to check installation progress. It has the potential to keep you excited and propel your career forward. The hours are 9-6 but you must be flexible for overtime just on occasion. Benefits will start 90 days after employment including an initial 3 weeks paid vacation. Salary will go no higher than $50K.
