Collection Specialist

FULL DESCRIPTION:


Overview:

Experienced Credit/Collection professional with experience in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include collecting and resolving payment and billing issues through discussions with engineering, manufacturing, purchasing and finance personnel within our own organization as well as our customers if need be. Experience with Letter of Credit documentation.

Essential Responsibilities:Collect and maintain domestic and/or International account portfolio Prepare credit and debit memo requests Prepare Letter of Credit documentation Prepare periodic reports on the status of Axcelis Accounts Receivable Participate in cross-functional teams to resolve process issues Special assignments



Skills/Knowledge/Ability:Must be multi-tasked oriented and have the ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment. Understanding of an integrated business control system Computer skills: word, access, excel, email Strong organizational skills Strong communication skills both oral and written



Education/Experience:Education Level required for this position: BS or BA degree preferably in a business-related field Years of experience: Minimum 5 years of credit/collection experience in a manufacturing environment
