One of the nation?s premier non-prime mortgage banking institutions, Accredited Home Lenders, Inc., was founded in 1990. The San Diego-based Company is engaged in the business of originating, servicing and selling residential mortgage loans that do not generally conform to the credit or other criteria established by the Fannie Mae and the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corp. (Freddie Mac). Accredited?s loans are commonly referred to as nonconforming or ?non-prime? mortgage loans.

We are presently seeking a Front End Collector for our office in San Diego. This position is
primarily responsible for prompt resolution of all assigned accounts. Other responsibilities also include the following:

Make outbound collection calls.

Answer and respond to inbound calls.

Make a minimum of 150 calls per eight hour shift, or twenty calls per hour.

Prompt resolution of all assigned accounts, which includes contacting overdue customers while performing appropriate collection and follow-up activities.

Responsible for results achieved on assigned account base.

Perform analysis of collection activity.

Make recommendations for the close of the delinquent accounts.

Comply with FDCPA. Requires the ability to communicate with outside parties over the phone.

AA degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous customer service and/or collections experience required. Entry to intermediate level computer skills required.

Must be able to work M-Thurs., 12-9p.m., Friday, 8:30 -5:30 p.m.
