Traffic Management Center Operator

Pompano Beach, Florida

 

Job Requirements:  High school diploma and or GED with 2 + years experience in a customer service and or call center environment.  Prefer personal computer experience with Microsoft Windows based software.  Position is located at the Turnpike Operations Center in Pompano Beach, FL.

 

Job Responsibilities:  Assist in the coordination of real-time operations of the Turnpike?s Traffic Management Center. Works to assist in managing incidents, emergencies, and other transportation and traffic management occurrences on Florida?s Turnpike in accordance with established operational response plans, user?s guide, checklists, and standard operating procedures. Operates the SunNavSM Intelligent Transportation System software along with voice, radio, data and video display systems.
