Compensation Analyst

Reviews and audits all employee changes affecting compensation for accuracy, legal and policy compliance.
Provides consultation and data analysis to management regarding compensation issues and recommends corrective actions to resolve compensation related problems.?
Conducts equity analysis as needed to ensure both internal and external competitive compensation.? Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
Participates in various external wage surveys and benchmarks jobs to identify relative market
position. ?Evaluates jobs using market pricing techniques to determine position grades.
Monitors promotion and merit increase budget to ensure adherence with established guidelines.? Recommends appropriate pay levels for new and existing employees.
Participates in the formulation of fiscal year salary structure changes and merit increase guidelines.
Serves as a compensation consultant to department managers and HR team members. Requires good

??????????? survey job matches, position evaluations, career ladders, etc.

Must be highly proficient in the use of personal computers and applications associated with the compensation field.? Highly skilled in the use of Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Eprise, and Outlook - must also have a good understanding of data analysis tools (i.e. Radford surveys).? International experience is a plus.

BA/BS in a business related field of study or equivalent level of experience and/or training with 3 + years of Compensation Analyst experience is required.?
