Compensation and Benefits Data Administrator
Maintains assigned tables in the HRIS. Responsible for position maintenance within the HRIS. Enters data, reviews and applies standards to ensure compliance with established company guidelines on grade and salary assignments.
Assists in compensation survey participation via collecting salary information from the HRIS system and reporting in appropriate format. Provides data assistance during the compensation performance management, merit and bonus review cycles.
Reconciles and readies for payment all benefit program monthly invoices, generating required reports from HRMS. Provides daily assistance and customer service for 401(k) program administration.
May participates in compensation studies and design efforts by analyzing various data elements. Review and cleanup of errors associated with interface with Benelogic and other benefit vendors.
With regard to HRIS issues, communicates with Human Resources staff and submitting manager to resolve issues, transfer knowledge of company policies, and inform of issue resolution.
Coordinates and assists with HRIS user training and development of training material for end users such as Human Resources for report generation and management for process and policy. Maintains and reconcile commissionable employees records as it relates to benefit coverage. Coordinates with Payroll to make sure benefit deductions and income are correct.
Position Summary
Assists in the day to day administration of the HRIS as it pertains to both the benefits and compensation functions. Generates standard reports related to both functions. Provides as needed baseline analytical assistance for benefit program coverage and compensation programs. Build custom reports for both division and corporate needs. Maintain the centralized Sage Software Custom Reports Library.
Education
4-year Degree in Management, Accounting, Human Resources, or related information systems is highly preferred.
Experience Required
0-2 years exposure to HRIS, compensation or benefits function. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Access and Excel. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals,
technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, & percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.
Ability to identify, analyze and solve problems using varying resources in order to meet project deadlines. Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude when representing Sage Software Inc.
The successful candidate will need to have a strong attention to detail, and good problem
solving skills. A heavy focus on customer service. Also, high initiative, and able to work in a fast paced environment, balancing multiple projects and deadlines. Enjoys working as an individual contributor and can receive direction from multiple sources.
