Assignment Capsule
You will act as an in-office resource to providers, securing fee schedules, providing copies of contracts, reviewing contracts, obtaining credentialing applications (if appropriate), and securing missing information. Uses appropriate in-house systems to communicate network changes.

Provide administrative support to the Provider Contracting department

Support Humana Providers and communicate with clients to facilitate physician understanding and cooperation in the contract process

Prepare, assemble and mail Humana Contracts; track contract activity, reporting status regularly

Maintain provider contracts and credentialing files

Perform file maintenance and maintain directory database

Role Essentials

Experience in contracting or operations

1-3 yrs administrative assistant/support experience

Ability to work with, and manage large databases
Role Desirables

Prefer a Bachelors or Associates degree

minimum of 1- 3 yrs health plan systems experience in contracting or operations preferred
