Contracts Analyst

Reporting directly to the Pricing and Contracts Manager, the Pricing and Contract (PAC) Analyst is responsible for analyzing/reviewing and loading vendor contracts into the Company?s operating system on a daily basis while ensuring accuracy and timely execution.? Work with PAC Supervisor to enhance vendor relationships and stay in front of expired contracts and addendums.? Also work with Supervisor to maintain acceptable rebate receivables and develop automated solutions to produce faster turnaround time with rebate processing.

Specific Activities:

???????? Review and process vendor contracts within the Company?s operating system on a daily basis to ensure that contracts are entered in an accurate and timely manner.

???????? Accurately record and update contract information within Excel for import into the Operating System.

???????? Monitor daily Open Order Report, Low Margin Report, monthly Contract Expiration Report

???????? Analyze and investigate pricing issues and issue appropriately authorized credits.

???????? Notify Sales force of any price changes due to vendor increases and/or contract addendums.

???????? Process exception pricing/quotes submitted by the Sales force.

???????? Process rental pricing/quotes submitted by the Sales force.

???????? Communicate with vendors regarding contract or rebate issues in question.

???????? Retrieve monthly GPO (Group Purchasing Organizations)?memberships and make customer additions/deletions, notify individual Sales Representatives of changes to customers within their territories.

???????? Maintain GPO contracts ensuring that they are loaded properly with accurate markup and by commitment level.

JOB COMPETENCIES:?

KNOWLEDGE

????????? Bachelor's degree Accounting or a related field, or equivalent work experience

????????? Minimum 2 years previous experience in Customer Service, Order Entry, or the Credit/Collections field.

????????? Basic familiarity with the analysis of contract documentation.

????????? Knowledgeable of current trends in healthcare and the needs of our market?

SKILLS

????????? Intermediate experience working with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.

????????? Ability to communicate with all levels of personnel

????????? Strong attention to detail, ability to maintain focus with intermittent distractions

????????? Strong organization and time management skills

????????? Professionalism and mature sense of accountability

????????? Experience in healthcare industry a plus
