Coordinator, EHRVA

This position is responsible for supporting the activities and the multiple initiatives of the Electronic Health Record Vendor Association (EHRVA).  Provides direct coordination for the full membership, executive committee, interoperability consortium and membership subcommittee.  Support the membership of the EHRVA through full and complete responses to questions, calendar inquiries and general management.  Provides in a timely basis first draft of agenda and complete and accurate summary notes of all calls including attendance on calls, action items, next steps, and key discussion points.  Schedules meetings and conference calls.  Assists with meeting preparation.  Enters data into databases.  Ensures accuracy of the data.  Generates reports as needed.  Identifies and develops action item lists.  Executes appropriate action items.  Provides information and responds appropriately to member inquiries

 

The ideal candidate will have a H.S. diploma; some college preferred.  Must be able to listen to a teleconference, follow the discussion, pick out key points, develop action item lists, and report a summary of the call through complete and accurate summary notes.  Must also be able to follow an email thread, recognize an action that a coordinator could/should take to facilitate a positive outcome and initiate the action. Superior customer service skill required.  Must be good at attention to detail.  Must be able to work with multiple groups and personnel in multiple locations across multiple time zones.  Experience with Microsoft Office particularly Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint preferred.
