Coordinator - Management Occasional

Position Responsibilities:

Initiate work orders in response to customer purchase order requests for structured cabling installations. Reconcile work completion and billing information and prepare acceptance packages for customers. Code and process labor and material vendor invoices. Enter work tracking information into systems: generate status and performance reports as needed. Develop and maintain trackers on small to large projects, to monitor job status, change orders, materials and/or labor. Provide reports as needed. Fill in for various positions within Verizon Structured Cabling.

Required Skills/Experience: Thorough knowledge of personal computer applications including database, spreadsheets, word processing, project management and desktop publishingExperience preparing specialized database queries and reports3+ years of telephone or cabling experienceExperience with Customer Contact and/or ServiceExcellent organization and work prioritization skillsGood oral and written communication skillsExperience with excellent customer contact communicationsAbility to work and participate in a Team environment

Desired Skills/Experience: Knowledge of Business wiring infrastructures on customer side of demarcationWorking knowledge of Verizon sales, supply, billing, contractor administration and construction organizations and functionsKnowledge of the COPS systemGeneral knowledge of telephony-related construction materials and methods
