We’re committed to quality management and we’re a great group of people--we’re the Credentialing Department and we’re looking for an outgoing, deadline-driven Coordinator who’s a team player. In this challenging position you would be responsible for performing and/or coordinating all activities associated with credentialing new dentists or recredentialing existing dentists.





 





Your key responsibilities would include:





 




Performing extensive data entry and documentation


Following up with the credentialing company and providers to obtain missing information from applications


Putting files together and preparing for the monthly committee meeting


Following up on any outstanding items, including verifying licenses and education
Contacting the appropriate parties for research and using a verification company


Preparing files that have special issues (i.e. malpractice claims or sanctions against their license) for special review


Forwarding files on for approval



You must have clerical experience. A background in healthcare, insurance and/or credentialing is highly preferable. Excellent computer, deductive reasoning, organization, multi-tasking and communication skills are essential. A college education and/or degree is preferred.
